Chapters 8,9, and 10

I. What is the significance of Jesus touching the man with leprosy?
II. Why is it unusual that a centurian came to Jesus?
III. Why was Jesus astonished at the centurion’s words?
IV. What race was the centurion?
V. Was Peter married? Why do both Matthew and Mark emphasize that Peter’s mother-in-law got up and waited on Jesus?
VI. Why does Jesus cross to the other side of the lake?
VII. What does Jesus mean, “let the dead bury their own dead?”
VIII. Was Jesus homeless?
IX. What does Jesus sleeping the storm teach his followers about trusting in God?
